Irresistible treats from our bakery
It began with our famous ‘Apple Fritters’, a warm, melt in your mouth deep fried apple ring. As the word spread, people come for miles just for these treats.
Each year, new tasty recipes become family favourites. We make all of our pies from scratch, with delicious seasonal fillings.
In 2007 the new additions to the line up were our ‘deep dish apple pie’ made with Yvonne Birtch’s family recipe, and Grandmas Birtch’s Chocolate chip cookies.
In 2012 we are adding “apple custard pie”, “apple streusal pie”, and “rhubarb-blueberry crisp”. Yum, yum!!!!
At Pumpkin festival time, we bring out the “Chocolate pumpkin muffins” The bakery is sure to become a wonderful new place to ‘create’; at Birtch farms.
