It’s blossom time, and wow what a show. After a year off, it looks like mother nature is giving the trees a huge boost. The trees are loaded with the largest blooms we have seen in many years. Birtch Farms is located just north of Woodstock, Ontario in a beautiful country setting. Our farm offers many experiences such as pumpkin picking in our authentic pumpkin patch, a children’s playground with pedal karts, slides, and much more. as well as a small corn maze. Our winery features Fruit Wines and Gift Baskets made from locally grown products, with tours and tastings. You can make your own scarecrow in our “scarecrow nursery” and then take it home with you. All of these wonderful activities combine to create a magical place for family gatherings. The Farm Fresh bakery offers delicious pies made with many different Ontario fruits, especially apple of course. We also make famous apple fritters, butter tarts, cupcakes, cookies and much more. The Lunch Cafe features comfort food options such as Sweet Potato apple soup, grilled apple cheddar panini’s, pizza, sausage and hot dogs. For those chilly fall mornings, we will be sure to have our “Fire Roasted Coffee” brewing to greet you with that wonderful aroma.
There is no general admission, however there are fees for different activities. Please go to the Playground section under the activities tab to find pricing for the different activities.
In the store we have many varieties of Ontario apples. Please see the apple section for current varieties.
We take debit and visa and mastercard credit cards, however, using cash makes for a speedier check out. We can offer “cash back” on a very limited basis, but we do not have a atm machine.
